What differentiates Immunotec as a company is that we are a meeting of minds between rigorous science and business insight. Our health-promoting products are the fruit of almost two decades of medical research spearheaded by Dieter Beer, one of our company’s founders and a businessman with a long track record, and Dr Gustavo Bounous, considered the father of whey protein research. These two eminent professionals created Immunotec Research Corp., a pure research company, which conducted over 18 years of research that is the foundation of our products.
Several years ago, I led a team of seasoned businesspeople who joined with Immunotec Research Corp. to create Immunotec Research Ltd. (Immunotec Inc. as of January 1st, 2007). The new company’s mission: to market these incredible health-promoting products to help people achieve the kind of lifestyle they want—both in terms of their health and energy, and their financial freedom.
We’ve been very careful about how we bring these products to market, ensuring that we have both credibility within the medical community and a solid business plan. Why do we do this? Because we are committed to running a stable company based on sound products so that we can be around to see your success. That’s the key to our business.
We also happen to be in the right place at the right time. Immunotec is all about wellbeing: both health and financial. And these are two of the major preoccupations of the vast baby boomer market. Baby boomers have driven past commercial revolutions; the success of SUVs and mutual funds, and housing market booms come to mind. Now they’re turning their attention to their health and their energy levels, which means that we have the weight of an enormous market behind this industry.
