Elasense was designed using the safest ingredients that are backed by science. The ingredients in the Elasense line were all hand-picked by Dr. Ronald Prussick, an expert in Immunodermatology. We used natural ingredients where possible, and chose ingredients known for safety and efficacy.
The ingredients have strong safety profiles, and rate low on the Environmental Working Group’s (EWG.org) ingredient rating scale, which many in the industry use to reference the safety of ingredients used in cosmetics and skin care products.
Elasense does not use ingredients consumers and experts in the field are concerned about such as Benzophenone, Coal Tar, Fragrance, Parabens, PEG (Polyethylene Glycol), Propylene Glycol, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Synthetic Colors-FD&C and D&C, TEA (Tricthanolamine), Triclosan.
In addition, we’ve taken it a step further, making sure to avoid questionable ingredients like Avobenzone, Citral, Citronellol, Cyclomethicone–Silicon Derived, Dimethicone Copolyol–Silicone Derived, Dioxin, Ethoxycinnamate–Chemical Sunscreen, Formaldehyde, Geraniol, Hydroquinone–Fade Creams, Limonene, Linalool, MEA (Monoethanolamine), Mineral Oil PABA-Chemical Sunscreen, Petroleum, Phthalates, PVP/VA Copolymer, Retinyl Acetate, Retinyl Palmitate, Talc.
