2008 Nobel Prize Winner in Medicine, Dr. Luc Montagnier draws attention to Immunocal

As one of the world’s experts in the field, Dr. Montagnier is a contributing Editor of the book “Oxidative Stress in Cancer, AIDS, and Neurodegenerative Diseases” where a complete chapter is devoted to Immunocal® and where it states that:

“Glutathione is of major significance in cellular antioxidant activity, and that Immunocal functioning as a cysteine delivery system can enhance glutathione synthesis…”

Immunotec Inc. (TSX-V IMM) congratulates Dr. Luc Montagnier for winning the 2008 Nobel Prize in Medicine for his 1984 discovery, with Françoise Barré–Sinoussi, of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). Drs. Montagnier and Barré-Sinoussi first understood that HIV “impaired the immune system because of massive virus replication and cell damage to lymphocytes.”

There are upwards of 100,000 articles published on the topic of glutathione. The best compilation of these can be found on PubMed, a service of the NIH (USA National Institute of Health).

To search for a specific topic, enter key words in the frame provided. For example, a neurologist may enter ”Parkinson’s” and “Glutathione”. This search would retrieve over 300 articles written between 1982 and the current date.
