Crystal Emmanuel made her Olympic debut at London 2012 where she made it to the semifinals of the 200m. She is also one of Canada's top female sprinters.

At the 2011 Canadian Championships she became the first woman to win both the 100m and 200m since 2003. She also ran the lead-off leg for the 4x100m relay in 2013 at the IAAF world where her team placed 6th in a national record time of 42.99 seconds.

In 2015, at the IAAF World relays, they finished 4th setting another national record time of 42.88 seconds and qualifying for the 2016 Olympics in Rio. Also in 2015, they won the Bronze medal at the Pan Am games in Toronto.

In 2016, Crystal made it to the World Indoor Games and qualified in the semifinals with a personal best of 7.23 seconds and ranked as the top female sprinter for the indoor season.
